A Cold Afternoon's Walk

This afternoon I took Lucy and hiked the Valley View Trail at the Bennington Battlefield Park. It was cold, dull, grey and there was a fair amount of snow, but we did fine and had a good time. I took a few photos with the old Kodak, but only two came out. This one is looking down into the Walloomsac Valley at the Cottrell Farm.

 

The following one is looking into White Creek. The trail runs along the hills between White Creek and Walloomsac.

 We didn't have the time today to hike the whole trail, but had to turn around and head back, which Lucy was glad to do! I plan to go back on a sunny day with my DSLR.
