Carving Pumpkins
Late yesterday afternoon we went down to our daughter and son-in-laws to watch the kids (and adults!) carve pumpkins. I took a few photos with an old cell phone. I spent most of the time trying to get a battery-operated carving tool they just bought working. I made sure the batteries were in right, took it apart twice and checked the wires and contacts, got it working once while apart with 2 of the 4 batteries, but it didn't work after being reassembled. Finally, after the pumpkins were all done, I wrapped it hard on the table and it started working!
I guess that is why a big hammer is the most effective tool?
Here are a few photos:
The rain and wind continued most of the night and morning. Now we are just getting wind.
